are you that you drive is for dvd?
because if you experiencing that a cd audio is working.. i think your drive is for cd only.. it is good for cd that have a 700 to 800mb only.. more than that.. it can read by cd rom.
if it is a real dvd player.. you need to install software to watch dvd movie... such as CYBERLINK POWER DVD , VLC PLUS , DIVX PLAYER or WINAMP....
