Hello,

hi, can somebody please help? I'm unable to connect to the internet following a house move (I was able to before). I have a 1394 Net Adapter but i'm told that i need to download some ethernet software? i'm using a Shuttle SB83G5 motherboard. Please help if you can! Thank you.

Hello,

You can download the drivers from the manufacture website.

Click on the below link and download the drivers.

http://global.shuttle.com/download03.jsp?PI=76&OS=2

Select your 'Operating System" from the drop down menu and download the

drivers.

what is net 1394 adapter used for?

Hello,
1394 net adapter is used for the high speed data communications. You have to use the firewire cable to connect to the devices.
