How to fix ALT key in laptop ???/

Hello,
I had a problem with ALT key in my laptop and I cudnot fix the problem. It happened when I am about to use task manager. However, I borrowed a desktop keyboard and when it is put to use....its working. Then I came to Know that my ALT key is not working as I have tried with short key of CTRL. Even delete key was working....

Anybody help me...??

Hi there,

If the key is damaged mate you will need to change the complete keyboard,try cleaning the key removing dust if stuck under it .

Hey thank you for your help....but it didnt work well....both the ALT key is not working...seems that there might be some program or system that may disable both the ALT key. Hope somebody do have an Idea with regard to this......

Hello pema,

Have you tried with a usb keyboard?what does it result positive or negative?try and give your feedback.
