Laptop PC won't connect to home network

Hello,
My Dell Latitude laptop works perfectly with my wireless network at work but won't connect to my wireless network at home. We just installed a Netgear router, which works with all our other computers. My laptop recognizes the network but cannot connect to give me access. Any suggestions?

you have to check if ur home network can adapt to ur laptop or not?

I guess so? How do I do that? There is no reason that it shouldnt work-- my laptop works all the time with wireless networks. But for some reason it recognizes the wireless but cannot connect
