Hi,

Run malware bytes on your system making also a system restore to previous dates it was running fine, here is the download link and instructions for system restore:

https://ccm.net/faq/6693-system-restore-on-windows-7

thanks for that but the fact is that there is no previous restore point. is there any other way that I can get the keyboard and touch pad working back?

Hi,

I guess this time the only way straight forward I see for your situation is to make a system recovery to make this possible you need recovery cd for your system ,boot from it and have the instructions onscreen followed. How can you have no previous restore point?did you recently make installation of windows on it?

Thanks

Hello pcsces and Ved,

If I may butt in for a second.

Many users have reported a similar issue. The problem sourced from a faulty electronic circuit which only a qualitfied technician can repair, this is another avenue to consider, at least to get a diagnostic before attempting a system recovery.

Best regards

Hi Ambucias,

I agree with you but half of it on the balance its usually software related issues,if this is not the case then definitely you have to get it verified by not only a qualified technician but electronic technician will be better,

Good luck
