My f hard drive is not opening...

Hello everyone...

I hav a problem due to which my whole stuff is in danger....actually my F: drive in Win XP SP2 has a problem....all c d e are working fine but when i try to open my F: drive the error is coming as-

hmbwhr.exe- application error

the application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click on Ok to terminate the application....

This is the error i m getting....my hard drive is of type sata....and type is NTFS

Actually there was less sapce on F...on which i hav been warned....so i compress the files ...and gain a space of 110 mb....but it still doesnt fix the problem

So please help me....i will be pleased if u use your important time on solving this problem....

Hello,

Try this 1

Click on Start --> Run --> Type sysdm.cpl and press Enter.

"System Properties" window will be opened. Click on the "Advanced" tab.

In "Performance" section --> Click on "Settings" button.

"Performance Options" window will be opened. Click on "Data Execution

Prevention" tab --> Make sure the option "Turn on DEP for essential Windows

programs and services only" is selected.

thanks for your kind support.....but only Dep for essential windows programs and services only is selected....and the issue remain unsolved...wat to do now...i can't format it...
please help...
