intend to write a tip in FAQ but in vain. Just want to share it with you all. tried the second method and it worked.

First Method
Step 1: Try right-clicking your desktop and selecting "properties."

Step 2: On the window that comes up, select the "desktop" tab, then click "customize desktop."

Step 3: On the next window, select "recycle bin (full)" and click "restore default," then repeat with "recycle bin (empty)."

Second Method
Step 1: Go to the "Start" menu and select "Run."

Step 2: Type "regedit" in the search field and click "OK" to start the Registry Editor.

Step 3: Browse to the following registry
key:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace

Step 4: Right click the "NameSpace" registry key in the left section of the window, select "New" and click "Key." Type "{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}" in the "Key" field and hit "Enter." A new registry key (it looks like a folder) will appear right under "NameSpace" in the left pane of the window.

Step 5: Click the new "{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}" registry key and then double click the "Default" entry in the right pane of the window to bring up the "Edit String" window. Type "Recycle Bin" in the "Value Data" field and hit "Enter." Close the Registry Editor.
