I solved it with the following way... I think this issue was with the deleting of its primary partition. If this was the issue you can solve it by this way..ok..just try it...

Go to desktop and right button the my computer and select the Manage
then goto disk management from the options then select the flash drive from the clicked windows. I think it's may be the 3rd window

And you can format your flashdrive with the options you got from there....ok...I solved my issue with this way.. So just try it...

I experienced the same problem (my USB device is PQI Traveling Disk i221). My Windows Vista can not solve the problem, fortunately the Windows XP solved the problem. Try these steps on Windows XP:
1. Start, Control Panel,
2. Performance and Maintenance,
3. Administrative Tools,
4. Computer Management,
5. Disk Management,
6. Find the USB drive (usually the last storage device before the optical drive),
7. Click on the USB drive,
8. Right click on it and you will see the options (New Partition or Format)
9. Follow the instruction (I chose FAT32), but please do NOT chose Quick Format.

Good luck.....

That definitely worked for me (OCZ 4GB USB drive)... I had to go into Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management -> Disk Management and right-click on the "Unallocated" (black) block that represented the USB drive and create a new volume. I was only able to choose FAT32 at this stage, but once that worked, I was able to right-click on the mounted drive in My Computer and reformat to NTFS.

Thanks!

Hi , Ahmad . Here is a way to "FORMAT" UR MMC .

PROCEDURE :
First , u have to Install " FILE EXPLORER or FILE MANAGER " in ur Phone memory . Then , using that " FILE EXPLORER or FILE MANAGER " Select SEARCH or ADVANCED SEARCH in it . Then TYPE ""MMCSTORE" and start search . Now u will get that "MMCSTORE" file .

NOW , you open that file using "NOTEPAD" in ur PC .

THERE U WILL FIND UR PASSWORD !!!!!!!

NOTE : INSERT UR LOCKED MMC and do this PRocess .
