Hello,

how to setup bios to boot the cd drive (lap top)
how to format and new installation for xp (lap top)

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Error : windows xp professional setup
Setup did not find any hard disk drives installed in your computer.
Make sure any hard disk drives are powered on and properly connected to your computer, and that any disk -related hardware configuration is correct. this may involve running a manufacturer- supplied diagnostics or setup program.
setup cannot continue. to quit setup, press f3.

Hi,

First of all get in bios then disable native mode save and exit settings by pressing F10 then boot from your installation cd of xp.The links below will guide you for making the downgrade successful:

Worked like A Bomb, Disabling the Native Mode in bios...!!! Thank you So much , Bless you...!!! I've been troubleshooting for about 8 Hours Now...!!!! Sooooo Relieved Now ...!!! Kind regards...!!!
