Not able to sign in hotmail

i am not able to login my hotmail account but i know my password
as i enter my password it is not accepted but somebody else is using my account and sending nonsense emails into my contacts
i am really afraid if something serious offence would be conducted through my mailin id


i am not able to delete it also
i am waiting for your assistance
