Format ScanDisk Premier 8GB memory card

hello,

I need help please. I recently formatted my SD Premier 8GB memory card inside my LG ks360 mobile fon.. then suddenly the capacity changed to 4GB when i inserted it back to my laptop... how do i change it back to 8GB..
