toshiba built in mic and webcam don't workClosed

Hello, i got a new toshiba laptop on windows 7 for christmas and the built in mic and web cam don't work - in the control panel it says a mic is not plugged in, i'm not that good at fixing computers. can anyone help me?

if its the built in mic and vid chances are you need to update the drivers for them they prolly wouldnt neccessarily appear in the control panel you may have to go to the device manager to see if they are working properly
