Greetings,
Can you hear sound on Windows? If yes, connect first you laptop to internet then go to System>Administration>Additionnal Driver, then click.
The system will search the missing drivers to install.
If you sound card is not installed, you'll normally see it there, in this case, you click on activate to install it.
Or you try this:
sudo killall pulseaudio
sudo alsa force-reload
(Hit the reset confirmation)
and then go to System>Preferences>Sound and change everything to ALSA

Frappes ta tête contre une cruche. Si tu obtiens un son creux, n'en déduis pas que c'est forcément la cruche qui est vide!
