Bar and stacked bar graph in single graphSolved/Closed

Question

Hello, 

hi i have to make chart using three field month wise. and i want to make bar for first field and stacked bar for next two within same graph. can it possible. my data looks like.

Month    Sales        Point   Redeem
Jan         1000          600     500
Feb           500          300     300
Mar           800          700     650
Apr            600          700     400
May           900          400     300

Hi Rahul,

Don't think that is possible.

In your case I would use a stacked column in combination with a line to create a graph looking close to what you have in mind.

Is that something you can work with and if so do you know how to create one?

Hi Rahul,

Sure thing.
It's probably easier then you think.

Select your data including header.
Create graph, choosing stacked column as graph type.
Right-click on the sales part of the stacked column.
Choose graph type and choose line.
After that I would advise you to thicken the line for a better looking result by right-clicking the line and choosing the top option.
