Toshiba laptop, won't start up

Hello,

Last night i've downloaded IE9 on my laptop, after that I left it on. In the morning I shut it down. After work, in the afternoon, I wanted to start it up. But no luck, I took out the battery, even that didn't helped. its a Toshiba L500 series 1 year old. Please any reactions

Hello,

Try this 1

Unplug the power --> remove the battery --> Hold the power button for 60

seconds to 2 minutes --> Connect the power supply then try to switch ON the laptop and later

Put the battery back into the laptop.

Can you hear the logon Windows sound?

no, I only hear as of the laptop is forcing to start up. and normally a light most flash in the front, but not even that I see

Hello,

Try this:

Go to BIOS --> Make sure hard disk is detected in the BIOS -- > Set your first boot device as "Hard disk" --> Save the settings and exit from the BIOS.
