Hello,
Since I upgraded the cut-down version of Windows 7 (pre-installed) on my Samsung N220 netbook to Windows 7 Ultimate (reformatted the partition and fresh install of OS) everything seems to work well except for the pre defined brightness keys (Fn arrow up and arrow down). This is a function that I like so any help to recover this would be much appreciated. Many thanks in advance....

Greetings,

Try going to Samsung's website and download then (re)install the Samsung Easy Display Manager.

Additionally make sure you have the latest BIOS (Firmware), as it's needed for the correct operation of brightness control under Windows 7.

Regards!

I'll advice you to return to the website and download chipset driver. Sometimes you need to install the chipset driver first then install the easy display manager
