After having tried to install Windows 7 from a pen drive with no success the pen drive became malfunctioning!

First I decided to delete all the data from it and then to format it. But it asked me if I wanted to delete some files that it called system files, I clicked 'Yes' and after that Windows said that "the removable device is not working correctly" and asked "do you want to format it?", I clicked 'Yes'.

After having formated the pen drive Windows 7 just says "unrecognized USB device" then tries to install drivers and then cannot find driver because of "Unknown device" though the pen drive is still listed in device manager as "Unknown device"!

Please, help me out cause it's a "Maserati"-marked USB flash and I paid 40 euros for it and I'm not a rich man!

Hello,

Try this 1

After connecting your pen drive, click on Start --> In search box, type

devmgmt.msc and press Enter.

"Device Manager" will be opened. If you notice any yellow mark, right-click on

it and select "Update Drivers" and follow the instructions.

Good Luck
