Help all my computer files are hidden!

Hello,

I ahd a virus called windows restore and it started to get anoying so I removed it and all its malware and everything on my desktop was missing my system and user folders I tried recovering stuff from recycle bin and it wasnt there even when I checked permanatley removed stuff the virus is gone but so is my stuff how do I get it back I have a 1tb hard drive and I had 50gb space left but now that the virus was tehre I only have 5gb Please help!

I am currently removing this virus as well, as it hid all my files.

Download this file from bleeping computer:

http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/grinler/unhide.exe

It will unhide all your system files.

What the virus did was make all your files and folders hidden.

Your fix worked like a charm. I thought I had lost all those files. I hope others attacked by this virus will find your fix. You are a life-saver!!!!!!

Thank god all of my stuff is back thank you David!! one problem I had 50gb of space and I only have 4gb after the virus how do obtain the 44gb of memory back?
