Recovering messages on nokia E71

Hello,

i switched off my nokia e71 and when i turned it on all my texts on memory card were gone. Inbox, folders, everything was empty. I didnt do software reset or anything. The media sounds, images are still there on memory card, but only the texts are deleted. please tell me a way to recover them ASAP. Thanks!
