Error On Playstation Network

Yesterday i was playing Call of duty Black Ops, and then signed out of Playstation Network and then came back to play 2 hours later pushed the "Sign In" Icon and then it said Error you have been signed out of Playstation Network. The only thing i think i could have done was turned it of while i was still online. All i wanted to do was Play Call of duty Black Ops, and SONY had to do this mess to me?? I want to be able to get back online with my ID Name, My avatar, And all my friends and settings i had Somebody help me please.
