Jst need a simple delete .bkf file older 1w

Hello,

I need a simple batch file tat i can run to delete .bkf file in a folder and if its older than a week. i tried to run many scripts bt its not working... need help thanks alot

Hi,

Run in safe mode and try to delete it there.

Hi Sir,

I tried but not working even the forfiles.exe which i copied to c: ..is nt getting the effect.

forfiles.exe /p C:\Documents and Settings\nadarsat\Desktop\test\ /s /m *.txt* /d -07 /c "cmd /c del /q @path"

i save above script as .bat.

If you able to provide a sample i would really appreciate that. thanks

The tip I use when I want to delete a file on Windows which does not allow this is, I go to my Ubuntu system (a Linux operating system), I locate the file from there and I delete without any problems. It always worked for me.
The system I'm talking about is totally free, you can try without installing it.
You can download version version at this link, it is 687 Mb.
http://noncdn.releases.ubuntu.com/10.10/ubuntu-10.10-desktop-i386.iso

After download, I'll explain you steps to follow for delete that file.
