Hdd not detected in the Bios

Hello,my laptop lenovo 3000 n100 worked so good and next day i start it and not load it stops at lenovo logo i try to format with windows 7 cd and there no hdd i enter bios and there no hdd ,,,,what i need to do i have a hdd segate momentus 5400.3 120 gb have there any drivers or what ...pls help me

Greetings,

I fear the hard dive has failed. I would find a good computer repair shop and see if they can replace the hard drive and recover the data. Attempting a home repair is not a good idea.

i have senn in a forum that hardisk canoot be see in bios and format because its damaged for some reasons and it can be recover with a program called testdisk

I doubt it, how a program can recover data in a disk which is not present in the BIOS? But you can try this fix if you want!
