All Office Standard 2007 programs start slow

Hello,
No matter what I do, all of the Microsoft Office 2007 programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) start or boot extremely slow. After they start, or boot up, they work fine. Is there any way to improve this? I have installed extra memory to 1GB of ram, 2.60 GHz CPU, and Office still boots very slow.

Did you defragment your hard drive after the Office Install? It might help.

Yes, a couple of times. I also have a registry cleaning software installed that is used every couple of days. I still have the problem. When I had the older Office Standard installed it would immediately open or boot, Office Standard 2007 sometimes takes up to 15 - 20 seconds to boot (and it doesn't make any difference which program I open).

I would call 15-20 seconds average or better than average boot time.

How can you claim the problem is solved by advising the guy to accept a dreadful reduction in speed? That is the worst possible advice!!!!!
