Minecraft jar file problem

Hello,

i am trying to move minecraft to a different computer that doesn't have internet but as soon as i put the launch (the thing you click to open minecraft icon onto my other computer it turns from an executable Jar file to a normal jar file, and it doesn't work, how do i fix this??? Please Help

PS, please tell me if i am being silly and they are actually the same thing!

Hello,

From what I read, You'll be able to play the game without an Internet connection but only you've been online at least once which is not the case for the computer that has no Internet. I suggest that this is the problem source.
