Connecting to internet

Hello,
Plz can anyone tel me how can i access internet in my laptop by using my cell phone.. I have gprs enabled videocon mobile, and i am using ubuntu linux.... so plz tel me wt all steps shud i follow to connect these two to use internet.

You have to pay to do USB tethering ect. on phones. Does your computer have wireless?
