How to send alerts via lan ?

Hello,

I want to send alerts to my users, I've been told to use net send fonctionnality but it doesn't exist anymore for win7.
Have you got some tips?!

Yes, net send is for WIndows XP only. Any lan messaging tool should have broadcast option. e.g

Try this 1

Open "Command Prompt" and enter the command msg/?

You can find all the instructions to send a message to a user.

thx but I've tried and I find it not so esay to use especially for users who want to send messages.

So i've made some research for software that would do the same and now I use dMessage

You can use www.dmessage.com, very easy to install and configure..

Yes and you can connect dMessage to your LDAP directories ;)
