Hello, 

hi I have a Compaq CQ58-bf9wm which I have just bought and I have downgrade it from win 8 to win 7 and the only driver that I cant left now is the PCI driver for the laptop and a driver for the camera...pls help is much appreciated ..

Hi malo,

One of the methods of finding the drivers for any older version of Operating System is by searching the Hardware Manufacturer's website. For example, "Compaq CQ58-bf9WM Notebook PC" is shipped with "AMD Radeon HD 6290" and "AMD Radeon HD 6310" graphics, you can find the drivers for the same from:

http://www.amd.com/in/Pages/AMDHomePage.aspx

Similarly, you can find drivers for most of the components from its manufacturer's website. For a detailed list of components in your "Compaq CQ58-bf9WM Notebook PC" please refer the Service Manual from the below mentioned link:

even though I installed windows 7 x64 on this laptop, I was able to use the card reader drivers for Windows 8 and it worked. Thanks for everyone's help.
