Hello,
Dear friends i have HP LAPTOP MODEL DV5-1110EL it is has vista.
i want to do xp on it but it give sata hardisk eror hardisk driver is (intel(R)ICH9M-E/M SATA AHCI controller.
plz help me where can i find driver of sata and other drivers.plz told me method of instaling window xp

Enter the BIOS, under the Advanced Tab, you will see SATA Controller: AHCI.

Change it to the other available option, that is IDE or something like that.

Save changes and exit.

Proceed with the installation.

there is no SATA driver in my pc...


do you know where can i get SATA driver..?

IN BIOS THERE IS NO OPTION LIKE THIS PLZ HELP ME AND TOLD ME ANY OTHER WAY I AM VERY TIRED TO VISTA

Search everywhere in BIOS, it should have this option if you have a sata hard disk.

Even if you find the driver, you will not be able to install windows xp because it looks for this driver from floppy drive.
