Laptop fan is starting but the screen is turning off and on

My Toshiba satellite laptop is turning on(fan is running) but the screen is turning off and on,,,,what's the problem?? anyone please help me...........

Hello,

Try this 1

1) Unplug the power cord --> Remove the battery --> Hold the power button for

60 seconds --> Connect the power supply then try to switch ON the laptop and

later put the battery back into the laptop.

2) If the problem still exists then click on the below link and follow the instructions

3) Also make sure that connections related to your screen are firmly connected.

i have tried this,,but still has the same problem,,,and i have also followed the link you have given below,,,but no result,,,what's the problem??

Try this 1
Once again try connecting the external monitor as given in the instructions in Step 2 and make sure you have used the proper combination keys to toggle between the laptop screen and the external monitor. Check if you are able to use the laptop by connecting to the external monitor without any issue.
Are you able to get the initial display when you turned on ?

i have fixed the display problem,,,it is now starting and showing toshiba logo but then it restarting again and again,,,now what should i do??? should i install windows 7 again??
