Hi,
I received a computer from my father. It had windows xp media center but it was a COMPLETE mess! Bought Win 7 CD, formatted the drive, and now I cannot install windows 7! I keep getting the "missing driver" message and Windows cannot get installed:

(1) Avermedia AverTV PVR 150 Plus PCI TV Tuner
(1) 16x Dual Layer DVD +/- R/RW Drive
(1) 9-in-1 USB Card Reader

Here is what I have tried so far:
1) Burnt ISO on a DVD; made sure BIOS said to boot from CD ROM (used nero 9)
2) Burnt ISO on a DVD; made sure BIOS said to boot from CD ROM (used a program called 'Free ISO Burner' and burned it at 6x)
3) Tried to use the Microsoft ISO Burner to USB flash but the following error came up:
"The selected file is not a valid ISO file. Please select a valid ISO file and try again."
(got file at: http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/html/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool
4) Then, burnt ISO onto USB drive; made sure BIOS said to start with USB flash drive (just unzipped ISO and put these files on the USB drive)
5) Bought an external CD ROM Driver at BEST BUY - booted from this and still did not work
6) Installed CD-ROM updated driver
I have already worked on this for 15+ hours and cannot solve the problem. Any assistance would be appreciated!

Hi,

From the error messages that you are receiving it seems the issue is with the ISO image that you are using. From what source did you get the Windows 7 ISO Image? Please try to re-download the ISO Image or contact the distributor from whom you received this ISO Image.

Please reply if you have any further queries.
