Select PORTABLE office Excel as a default program to open a file

Hi,

I have Portable Office (excel & word) in "C/Program files" of my laptop. I also have a *.xls file in my desktop. I'm trying to choose a default program(portable excel) to open always that kind of file *.xls. When doing this process, it never allows me to select excel portable. Must be a way!!!

Hello,
If you right click on your file, you can choose the option "Open With". Then, you will have an option "Browse", "Choose default program", or something like that.

That is the process that I carried out, problem is excel portable can not be selected.
