Hello friends,
I have same problem with the sound after installing XP Professional SP 3. I did install everything that should be.my sound driver is also successfully installed. however there is "PCI Device" still with "!" sign in my device manager window. this was not happening when i re-install XP Professional SP 2. the sound with SP 2 is perfectly working. but when I re-install SP 3, even I have installed all the necessary drivers just as what I have installed in SP 2. its totally mute. every drivers I have installed is the most updated i got from its company's website.
everything is running perfectly well except NO SOUNDS.
its killing me cause i cannot play games with no sound.
hope you have solutions.
thank you in advance for your helps.

Wanting to re-install ur soudcard ? Run its driver.

Needing a link to download this driver ?

Tell the brand and the model of ur computer. Or of ur Mother Board if ur computer is a no-brand one.
