I have a master list of launches in excel, each which includes a column for launch date. For all launches with a launch date in September, I would like the full row replicated into a separate tab labeled September (Sept tab has all the same column titles as the master list). I would like for this to happen automatically any time a new launch is added to the master list AND I want information that is updated on the master list to automatically update in the separate monthly tabs.

I am not a developer and am a rookie with excel so a simple "if/then" function I can do but complex code is a little harder for me to understand. Any recommendations?

Also, I am working with Excel 2007.

Hi Dzocchi,

Have you considered the autofilter option?

Hi TrowaD,

I'm not sure how the autofilter works, will it fitler the rows into separate tabs or just within the same one?

Any guidance helps... thank you!

Hi D,

Autofilter will filter data in the current sheet/tab.
Try it out and see if you like it.

If you don't then post your workbook using a site like www.speedyshare.com or ge.tt.
That way it is easier to write a code for you.

Best regards,
Trowa
