Hello,
i just observed tht my lap top battery is showing a cross symbol.
when I bring the pointer to it it says CONSIDER REPLACING YOUR BATTERY .
!!! PLEASE HELP ME I RESTARTED MY LAPTOP COUPLE OF TIMES BUT THTT CROSS ISNT MOVING AWAY
I've also tried your sugession



Remove the battery, plug your power cord and switch ON your laptop -->

shutdown and then place the battery back into your laptop. If the problem still

exists then let me know you laptop brand name and how old is your laptop. 

sorry to say but its not working.


My laptop is DELL INSPIRON n5010
Its 3 yrs old

The only way to remove the message is to replace your battery.  I would orger one from Dell as after market batteries are often of low quality and can even be dangerous to use.
