Gateway factory reset problem

Hello all i seem to be having a problem resetting my gateway dx4822 to factory. I get to the screen, click restore to factory, it starts and then stops at 51%, then the progress bar goes away and i get a message that says "please wait a moment" and it stayed on for about 16 hours. I turned the computer off and back on and now windows will not boot. I can still get to the factory reset screen but every time i try it still only gets to 51% then gives me the message again. I do not have any kind of recovery cd. Any help would be greatly appreciated
