I'm running windows xp pro and I'm getting the blue screen durning boot up with stop error code 0x00000024 (0x001902FE,0XB9B9206C, 0XB9B91D68, 0XB9D8206D)

Can anyone give me some clues on how I can fix this?
It will boot just fine in safe mode and I've run chkdsk /r and still no luck.

Stop: 0x00000024 generally occurs due to the following reasons

1. The file system or partition structure is corrupted.

2. A driver compatibility issue exists.

Try to boot in last known good configuration

HI!
Thanks for the reply!
Ok, I tried the last known good configuration and still get the blue screen.
Also tried CHKDSK /R and still no luck. Are there any other options?

Greetings again Robert the Scot,

Instead chkdsk, try sfc/scannow

Failure of the above will mean that either from another computer you download Hiren's boot disk for repair or you restore the system to factory settings, loosing all of you data.

Sorry but in my opinion, that's the way the cookie crumbles.
