Can't download attachments in Yahoo email in Firefox

I have tried some of the solutions mentioned, but with no luck.
When I click on an attachment, it offers the options Save to My Computer, or Save to My Dropbox. When I click on them the little wheel spins, but when I check Tools / Downloads, or Dropbox, there is nothing there.
I have re-installed Firefox for Yahoo, made no difference.
Switched off email checking in AVG, made no difference.
This is a relatively recent problem - have Yahoo made a change they thought was relatively insignificant...?
Any suggestions gratefully received...

Hang in there.

Make certain you are not trying to click on them when they are in any spam or quarentined folder. Move them to your inbox, then try it.
