Hello,

Friends i have dell inspiration mini 10 laptop when i try to install window 7 operating system give me error to hard drive not found please help me...

Did you run the Dell internal diagnostic program? I think it's F11 when you see the Dell logo.

Xpcman thanks for replying. but there are nothing to display when i m press f11 .its not working .

If your doing a 64bit install, have you enabled the HPET support in the BIOS?

or

Go to bios and change hdd from IDE to other option!

carminabigue can you explain how to enabled the hpet in bios. and how to change hdd from ide .

Your Z530 processor is 32bit only. You can not install a 64 bit Windows OS.
