Resizing photos to upload and download on other end quicker

I recently ran out of our 1 month 15 GB in two weeks because I was uploading heaps of holiday pics to my friend who had accidentally erased all his we never even use 15GB in the month nether lone in 2 weeks I am told if I downsize them I can send them quicker and therefore not chewing up so many Gigs is this correct and what free resizing program would anyone suggest for me please cheers Di.

Well, two ways to hadnel this, the easiest and quickest way is to resize the amount of data used when taking the picture. That is accomplished on your phone itself, set the photo settings to the lowest level.

Or, you can change the PPI of the picture in some software like Adobe Photoshop.

Understand, by making the image smaller, you are also making less details.
