My laptop does not connecting to Wifi

I have Acer laptop and using windows 8. When i connected to wifi it wont connecting and when I am solving it doesnot work it says your DHCP is not enable i had search many times i didn't get DHCP. Where is it? Can you help me?

First check Wifi drivers are installed in PC, u can check that by Right click on MyComputer-->Manage there u can see status of drivers.

OK, there is a serious problem with window 8 and networking. that is why they released 8.1 so fast. Update to 8.1 and the problem should go away.

@meetmani....you have failed to completely answer the question, as you must click on Device Manager, after Manage, and select the Network adaptor that you are attempting to use.

After selecting manage option pop window will open obviously he will know the driver status. Is that a big mistake.. i though he will manage to find it.. so dint given briefly.

I had done all the step that you suggested me but it does not working. May i have to upgrade to 8.1?

Yes, Version 8 shipped with a serious network issue, that is why 8.1 rolled out so fast.
