My laptop overheated and wont open D:

A while ago I left my laptop on on top of a pillow while I was reading.
Then it shut down which was common to me because it almost always overheats. But this time, it wont turn on.
its an Acer Aspire 4750 Series.
I try to charge it, but the light that shows if its charging or not wont turn on.
When I press the power on button. Nothing happens.
Can someone please help me ._.
I would appreciate it if you did :)

Can you remove the battery and power and hold the on switch for 20 seconds then plug it back in and try.

I already tried that. It still wont turn on.
