Please help my HP Pavilion TouchSmart 14-b10 have a black screen

My HP 14" Pavilion TouchSmart 14-b109wm Laptop PC have a black screen or so ermines shows up the hp logo but won't go any futher
My computer have been saying it need an update so I finally decided to update it and when I did the computer keep updating over and over and won't start so I decided to take the battery out and then my computer comes on shows the hp logo and won't logo and sometimes a black screen shows up all the lights and everything is one so I don't kno what the problem might be :((( PS I only had this computer for a few weeks
