Google Chrome will not open certain websites

For instance, if I try to get on Spotify, the tab says SSL Error and the page says "Cannot connect to the real www.spotify.com" "Try reloading this page or switching to a new network." And it shows a padlock.

It's entirely frustrating. I can't download anything.

I have AVG protection, and always have, but up until a couple of months ago I noticed I wasnt able to get on Twitter, then I couldnt open Spotify, and now I cant even open links that friends on facebook send me of their own videos and stuff.
