Hello,
My hp 2000 is window 7 but when i installed Ubuntu desktop 8.04 then it's not like that window 7 so i reinstalled window 7 my taken is i deleted all partition but problem is reinstalling process showing that When I
go into Boot Manager I get a message ' encountered a
problem in communicating with device. This error could be
due to an unplugged external USB, a faulty hard drive or CD
rom drive Status Oxc00000e9


so plz help me fix this problem then i format my computer bcoz this problem is cut out window 7 installation cd .

Well if you deleted all partitions, then there is no space to provision for the O/S. YOu have to make an active partition.

download the cd bootable version use it to partition(the size you want) and format the disk.
the partition should be in ntfs format set to active and also do format it.

then you should be able to load windows.

to remove the linux boot loader you need to run zeros first on drive to clear all data and have a blank hdd the disk wizard will do this for you..

As you had linux os on the drive no recovery partition is available..
