PC shows purchased date and time at start

when ever i open my pc (it has window xp), it shows date and time of the period when it was purchased.

after updating time and date manually after that only we can connect to internet.

can you please provide me solution of this problem.

Hi

Your CMOS battery must be dead and should be replaced.

See this Kioskea "How-to", it will show you how to replace the battery.
