Acer Aspire V5 Notebook won't boot up.

My Acer Notebook wont power up. The keyboard lights and Acer logo appears with the circling hourglass, but then screen goes blank. I read to disconnect all attachments - done; unplug electric - done; then unscrewed bottom to disconnect battery. Well this battery doesnt just unplug. It has various colored wires connected here and there and I hesitate to do anything. Any other suggestions?

If the logo and hourglass appear, it's more likely another issue.

See if it will boot in safe mode.

Dont know what you mean by safe mode

Start while pressing F8
