My Mouse Stops working ?????

Dear Esteemed Helper,

Hello. I have been this problem from few days. My mouse all of the sudden stops working. I get the USB Port not responding message. Please if it is the power supply malfunction or some power settings issue really cannot figure it out. Did try to change in control panel the settings under power management. I am using Windows 7 ultimate. Please if somebody can help me on this I will really appreciate it. Thank You, Good Bye.

What is the make and model of your machine?

Dear Ambucias,

Thanks for the reply. I am using a generic make. the config is Pentium Dual Core E5400 @ @2.79ghz 2 GB Ram. 32 bit operating System Windows 7 ultimat, Sony RW drive ( which i took it off for power reasons) Hard Drive Partitioned (A=195GB B= 135GB C=135GB) I hope this helps. See if you can reinstall the driver
