Bluetooth enabling on acer aspire v5 122P-0408

I am failing to pair my blackberry with my laptop mentioned above via blue tooth. The icon is showing blue tooth is on but my laptop is not finding other devices to be paired with. I checked on tha toolbar after clicking on bluetooth the 'connect with other devices is faint, ie not high lighted. Please help me

Is the blue tooth on, on the other devices? I have to ask!

Yes its on and other devices pair but not with the pc
