Acer Aspire wont start

Hello i need some help . I was using my laptop for an hour and the the charging lights on my laptop turned off . Then i checked the charger and its light is still on but my laptop wont charge . I tried removing the battery but as soon as i plug the charger back in my laptop , i can hear a squeezing sound at the charger port and the charger light went off as i plug it in my laptop . Pls help . By the way , the charger port part and the area around it feels hot. Pls help m thank you guys

Hi there,

I would say that you need to check that charger cable. It does not sound like a big deal, but sometimes a faulty cable could do big mess. It would be great, if you consult a technician. Do you have any issue when using the laptop with its battery? If you suspect heating, use some monitoring tool and think about opening the laptop and cleaning the dust that may be blocking some fans.
