Unable to open e drive

Hello,
suddenly system got shut down and unable to open e drive its showing this message
" do u want to format now" how can retrieve data from e drive

select cmd in Run command
type E:
type attrib -r -h -s a*.inf
type del a*.inf
then restart

even in cmd when i type E: the volume does not contain a recognized file system
